Metal Mates VS diluted 2:1 was used to make this cup using cold rolled 0.092" replacing a competitive water soluble that was being flooded onto the part. Pickup was eliminated, flooding was replaced by specific sprayers and housekeeping which had been a problem was improved.

P & F of Concord ran Metal Mates VS @ 2:1 on a .1500" cold rolled schock tower. It was then sent to Ford Frame Plant without washing. Ford was able to eliminate 75% of the smoke and improve the weld quality.

Ford Frame Stamping tried Metal Mates VS @1:1 dilution on a 0.1900" cold Rolled frame spacer to eliminate heavy scoring and improve welding. They were able to eliminate scoring, improve welds and were able to run ahead of scheduled production without any tooling problems
